RETURNS POLICY AT DEMETER MEN

Prior to orders being packed and processed, our quality control team at Demeter Men ensures that the customer receives exactly what they ordered, by checking the item/s are not faulty and damaged prior to being dispatched and delivered to the customer.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item/s to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, returns must comply to the following:

• Your item/s must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused. 
• Your item/s must be returned in its original packaging, with tags.
• Your item/s must not have any sign of wear, stains or odours.
• You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If the above is not complied to when the customer makes the return, Demeter Men obtains the right to return the item/s back to the customer.

Returns Conditions:

Item/s cannot be returned if:

• Customer selected the incorrect style
• Customer does not like the style selected and received.
• Customer selected the incorrect size (to help customers avoid this, a size guide link is displayed in the Add to cart section of the item and below the care instructions). 
• Customer selected the incorrect colour

Item/s can only be returned 14 days from order received if:

• Faulty or damaged upon customer receiving order OR
• You received the wrong item/s.

So, What Happens Next?

We do not distribute refunds. Although, a credit note of the same value of the order will be issued to the customer to either select the same item or a new item of the same value on the Demeter Men e-store. 

To start a return, in case of a return, please email customer support team at contactus@demetermen.com prior to sending back your item/s. The team will respond to you within 1-3 business days. 

We'll email you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the return was accepted or not. 

If the return is accepted, we'll email you details on receiving and using your credit note.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Shipping charges for the return are covered by Demeter Men.

CARE GUIDE AT DEMETER MEN 

At Demeter Men we offer stainless steel, sterling silver, alloy, leather, wood, stone, silicone, rubber and beads across our jewellery range, and more.  

Our jewellery is made to last, although over wearing will generally tarnish and appear dull if proper care have not been taken. 

It is recommended that you protect your jewellery from:

• Knocks and scratches
• Household cleaning products and chemicals
• Hair dyes
• Over-regular exposure to sunlight may dull the colour of the jewellery, such as leather items. 

• Remove jewellery when in water regularly, swimming, washing hands, showering, in salt water and in chlorinated water, unless the item is stainless steel or silver. Water may loosen any stones and may make them appear foggy.

• Do not expose jewellery to household cleaning products, highly reactive chemicals and hair dyes.

• Avoid spraying perfume or hairspray on the jewellery as it may hinder the integrity and appearance of the material. 

• Remove jewellery when applying any creams to avoid residue entering the texture of the jewellery, dulling the shine and cause discolouration.
• Non-flexible items are best stored flat. 

• Jewellery items should be stored separately and divided to prevent scratching, such as in a jewellery case, soft cloth bag or velvet pouch. 

• Use a soft, lint-free polishing cloth to wipe away any excess oils, acids, grease or marks to keep jewellery looking shiny whilst wearing.
• Do not use clothing, tissues, tissue paper, kitchen towels or beach towels to clean and shine jewellery, as it may cause scratching.
• Do not use any jewellery cleaning solutions, polishes or liquids. 

• It is highly recommended that you sterilise your earrings or studs before use with an antiseptic wipe, as the jewellery is handled by people through the design, production and packaging process.
